North Avon Baptist Church is committed to a holistic approach to Faith. Meaning we believe God is interested in all of life, beyond Sunday Church and into our homes, our workplaces and our social circle. Therefore we want the ministry of North Avon to reflect this. Our Ministry includes:
Administration Ministry:
To oversee the Administration of the Church including financial and legal areas.
Children's Ministry:Run a Children's Church programme on Sunday mornings catering for the spiritual and relational needs of children ages 0-12.
Community Ministry:
Be involved in community building ministries and seek new opportunities to develop community within North Avon Baptist Church.
Discipleship Ministry: Help the church grow in faith and understanding in how they follow Jesus.
Mission Ministry: Oversee mission on a local and global scale, helping North Avon Baptist Church focus beyond our Church community.
Pastoral Care Ministry: Visit and care alongside the pastoral Staff for the members of North Avon Baptist Church, associated Family and Friends, the local community and local Rest Homes.
Prayer Ministry: Encourage and lead a prayer focus for North Avon Baptist Church, inform the congregations of specific prayer needs and encourage the time of Intercessory Prayer in our services.
Property Ministry: Oversee all matters relating to the property of North Avon Baptist Church.
Worship Ministry: Providing leadership and resource for our Worship Services.
Youth Ministry: Oversee Youth programmes and Youth Group, ages 13 to 20
